Opportunities to Volunteer with SNTWN
Become a Tree Warden
We’re lucky to have 42 fantastic Tree Wardens in our group right now — but there’s still plenty of room to grow! With over thirty spots waiting to be filled, we’ve got some big (muddy!) boots to fill, and we’d love to welcome more tree-loving folks to the team. Could that be you?
Seed Collectors
Our Community Tree Nurseries are always on the lookout for local provenance seed to help grow the next generation of trees.
Got a veteran tree on your land — maybe a lovely old British broadleaf — that’s ready to share a few seeds? If you’re happy to collect them, we’ll happily come and pick them up from you. Every little handful helps us grow something wonderful!
Marketing
Are you a budding marketeer with a passion for the planet? We’re looking for someone to help us spread the word — whether it’s shaping our PR strategy or giving our outreach a boost.
Maybe you’re a student keen to gain experience in the eco world? Or just someone who loves a good story and wants to help tell ours?
Special Tree Skills
We’re lucky to have a wonderful team of tree experts who lend their knowledge in all sorts of specialist areas — especially when it comes to protecting our precious trees.
Right now, we’re looking to grow that team! If you’ve got skills in tree assessment or other specialist areas and would love to put them to good use, we’d be thrilled to hear from you.
Planting Projects 25/26
We’re on the lookout for lovely volunteers to join us for our planting-out days!
This winter, we’ve got lots of exciting planting projects happening across South Norfolk — and we’d really appreciate a few extra pairs of hands to help us get those roots in the ground. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a love for the outdoors!
